Restart the system and check if issue persists.Navigate to C:\ProgramData\Intel\ and delete the XTU folder.When the installer appears, repeat steps 2 and 3.Select Intel XTU and click on 'Uninstall'.When message about joining ' Product Improvement Program' select ' No' and click 'OK'.Turn on option ' Remove Intel(R) Extreme Tuning Utility Profiles and applications settings".Launch Intel® XTU installer (version 6.5.2.40).This could be an anomaly linked to app usage. After installing Intel® XTU version 6.5.2.40 and uninstalling it via Windows 10 "Apps and Features", the app folder in does not appear anymore, neither the entries in Device Manager. We have been unable to reproduce this issue in our lab.
